Why don't men run in the rain?

Why Don't Men — Understanding why men don't do certain things.

See if this sounds familiar…

The sky opens up, rain pours down, and while women grab umbrellas or sprint for shelter, men often walk unhurried through the downpour, letting water soak their hair and clothes. It looks like an odd defiance of basic comfort.

Men are socialized to view physical discomfort—cold, wet weather, mud—as insignificant matters to endure silently rather than avoid. Seeking quick shelter or carrying protection against weather can be seen as an unnecessary fuss, leading many men to simply accept getting wet as a minor inconvenience.

Accepting the elements is not true strength, but neither is fear of a little rain; balance lies in sensible care for oneself.

What small comfort might you allow yourself today instead of needlessly enduring daily discomfort?
